What is Knowledge Lineage?

Knowledge Lineage is a visual way to inspect how a piece of information evolved. If the AI synthesizes an answer from several papers across time, the lineage view helps you trace that progression back through the source record.
  1. Accessing Lineage: Often accessed from a specific “Trust Claim Card” in the chat interface.
  2. Timeline View: You will see a chronological layout showing the origin, trajectory, and evolution of the topic the AI is discussing.
  3. Clickable Citations: Every node acts as a source reference, opening the relevant document so you can trace the claim back to its roots.
Knowledge Lineage is especially useful when you need to defend a claim, compare competing evidence, or show how an answer was grounded in real sources.
