Uploading Documents
Uploading documents is how you turn Oystack into a research workspace built around your own sources.Getting Your Files Ready
- Locate the Upload area (usually found on the main dashboard, sidebar, or specific workspace settings).
- You can drag and drop files directly onto the interface.
- Supported formats include PDF, Word Documents, plain text, and more.
What happens after upload
When you upload a file, Oystack prepares it for use in your workspace.- Availability: Once the file is ready, you can use it in chat, note drafting, and source review workflows.
- Paper details: For research papers, Oystack may show additional bibliographic details when they are available.
- Processing time: Depending on file size and type, this can take a few moments.
A newly uploaded file may not appear in every workflow immediately. Wait until
it is ready before using it in chat or citation-based work.
